Rice Kheer (Doodh Pak)

Doodh Paak

A creamy rice pudding made by slow-cooking milk with soaked rice, sugar, dry fruits, khoya, and aromatic spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk
  • 1/2 cup rice (soaked for 2 hours)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup dry fruits (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup khoya (mawa)
  • cardamom
  • saffron
  • 1 tsp Everest Milk Masala (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk on low flame, stirring continuously.
  2. When the milk becomes thick, add the soaked rice and cook.
  3. Add sugar.
  4. Add chopped dry fruits, cardamom, saffron, and optional milk masala.
