Rava Dosa (Semolina Dosa)
Dosa batter made by soaking urad dal and methi seeds and combining with fine rava; dosas are prepared in the evening after fermentation/resting.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rava (semolina)
- 2 cups rice flour
- 1/2 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
- 2 medium-size cups curd
- water (as needed to make a thin batter)
- salt
- cumin seeds (jeera)
- oil (for greasing/drizzling and cooking)
Instructions
- Mix rava, rice flour, maida, curd, salt, and cumin seeds.
- Add water to make a thin batter and rest for a while.
- Heat a tawa and grease with oil.
- Pour batter and allow it to spread on its own.
- Drizzle oil and cook until crisp.
- Serve.
