Ingredients
- potatoes
- garlic
- jaggery (gol) (add later)
- tamarind (add later)
- chilli powder
- turmeric
- coriander powder
- salt (to taste)
- oil (for tempering (vaghar))
- mustard (for tempering (vaghar))
- cumin (for tempering (vaghar))
- asafoetida (for tempering (vaghar))
Instructions
- Wash and cut the potatoes.
- Chop all the masalas except jaggery and tamarind.
- Cook the potatoes with the spices.
- After the potatoes are cooked, add jaggery and tamarind.
Tips
- Add jaggery and tamarind only after the potatoes are cooked.
