A basic method describing how to prep and partially cook sliced potatoes and bhungla (green pods) for bhaji-style vegetables.

Ingredients

  • potatoes (washed and sliced/cut into pieces)
  • bhungla (green pods) (remove strings, washed)
  • water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and slice/cut into pieces.
  2. Wash the bhungla (green pods), remove the strings, and wash again.
  3. Cook the bhungla on low heat on the stove for a little while.
  4. Cook the cut potatoes on low heat on the gas.
