Polao (Vegetable Pulao, Partial)

A brief pulao method where onions and tomatoes are fried with spices, then rice and vegetables are added.

Ingredients

  • onions
  • tomatoes
  • garam masala
  • red chilli (powder unspecified)
  • salt
  • dhania/jeera (coriander-cumin)
  • haldi (turmeric)
  • 2 bowls rice (washed)
  • potatoes (optional/add-in)
  • capsicum (bell pepper) (optional/add-in)
  • peas (optional/add-in)

Instructions

  1. Fry onions and tomatoes with garam masala, red chilli, salt, dhania/jeera, and haldi until well fried.
  2. Wash and add 2 bowls of rice.
  3. Add vegetables such as potatoes, capsicum, and peas.
