- hing (asafoetida)
- rai (mustard seeds)
- jeera (cumin seeds)
- cloves
- cinnamon
- dal water
- salt
- lemon
- sugar
- haldi (turmeric)
- green chillies
- coriander (cilantro)
Instructions
- Heat oil and add hing, rai, jeera, cloves, and cinnamon.
- Add this tempering to the dal water.
- Add salt, lemon, sugar, haldi, green chillies, and coriander.
