Soaked moong cooked with a mustard-hing tempering and basic spices.
Ingredients
- 4 moong (soaked in water for 1/2 hour)
- red chili powder
- salt (to taste)
- oil (for tempering)
- mustard seeds (for tempering)
- asafoetida (hing) (for tempering)
Instructions
- Soak moong in water for 1/2 hour.
- Heat oil with mustard seeds and hing (tempering).
- Add moong and add the spices.
- Cook until done.
