Methi Potato Curry

Methi (Fenugreek) (Potato curry)

Potatoes cooked with onions, a little methi, spices, and finished with curd stirred in after boiling.

Ingredients

  • 9 potatoes
  • fenugreek (methi) (a little; chopped and washed)
  • 3 onions
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 bowl curd (yogurt)
  • 1/2 bowl water
  • oil (for tempering (vaghar))
  • cumin (for tempering (vaghar))
  • mustard (for tempering (vaghar))

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the potatoes into small pieces.
  2. Chop the methi and wash it.
  3. Add the spices and 1/2 bowl water.
  4. When it boils, add the curd and mix.
