Fried Dal (Mung Dal)

Simple sautéed mung dal fried with onion in oil and ghee.

Ingredients

  • mung dal (soaked (text also says cooked/soaked dal when frying))
  • 1/2 onion
  • oil (for tempering/frying)
  • ghee (for tempering/frying)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and ghee.
  2. Add the onion and sauté until light brown.
  3. Add the cooked/soaked mung dal and fry.
