French Beans and Potato (Pressure Cooker)

French beans and potatoes cooked with oil, salt, and ajwain, pressure-cooked with minimal water for a dry sabzi.

Ingredients

  • 400 g French beans (remove strings and cut)
  • 5 potatoes
  • salt (to taste)
  • carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 2 tsp oil
  • water (sprinkle a little)

Instructions

  1. Remove strings from the beans and cut them.
  2. Mix oil, salt, and ajwain.
  3. Add the beans and potatoes, sprinkle a little water, and cover (do not cover fully).
  4. Cook in a pressure cooker for 3–4 whistles.

Tips

  • Do not cover fully while cooking in the pressure cooker.
