French Beans and Potato (Pressure Cooker)
French beans and potatoes cooked with oil, salt, and ajwain, pressure-cooked with minimal water for a dry sabzi.
Ingredients
- 400 g French beans (remove strings and cut)
- 5 potatoes
- salt (to taste)
- carom seeds (ajwain)
- 2 tsp oil
- water (sprinkle a little)
Instructions
- Remove strings from the beans and cut them.
- Mix oil, salt, and ajwain.
- Add the beans and potatoes, sprinkle a little water, and cover (do not cover fully).
- Cook in a pressure cooker for 3–4 whistles.
Tips
- Do not cover fully while cooking in the pressure cooker.
