Potatoes cooked in a thick onion-garlic and tomato masala gravy seasoned with dum aloo masala.
Ingredients
- oil
- ginger garlic paste (a little)
- onion paste
- tomato paste
- haldi (turmeric)
- Navalkar curry masala
- potatoes
- peas
- salt
- water (to make gravy)
- curry leaves (a little)
- coriander
Instructions
- Heat oil; add a little ginger-garlic paste and cook until light pinkish.
- Add onion paste and fry well.
- Add tomato paste and fry until oil leaves the sides.
- Add haldi and Navalkar curry masala to make the gravy base.
- To prepare in water: add potatoes, peas, and salt.
- Mix the prepared gravy paste with a little water and add it to the potatoes and peas.
- Add a little curry leaves and coriander.
Tips
- Can be made with onions and potatoes.
