Dudhi Halwa (Bottle Gourd Halwa)

Dudhi Halwa

A milk-cooked bottle gourd halwa prepared similarly to gajar halwa, sweetened and finished with ghee.

Ingredients

• 1/2 kg Dudhi (bottle gourd) (grated)
• 1/2 liter Milk
• 1 teaspoon Ghee
• 1 bowl Sugar

Instructions

1. Grate the bottle gourd (dudhi).
2. Cook it in milk the same way as gajar halwa.
3. When the milk dries up, add sugar and cook until it dries.
4. Finish with ghee.
