A sweet-tangy chutney made from dates and tamarind, seasoned with salt and chili; noted as prepared the same way as bhel chutney.
Ingredients
- 200 gm Dates (khajur)
- 100 gm Thick tamarind pulp
- Jaggery (gud)
- Red chilli powder (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare using the same method as bhel chutney: cook/boil the sweetener and tamarind component together, season with salt and red chili powder, then cool before serving.
