A quick chutney made by grinding roasted chana dal and peanuts with ginger and green chilli, finished with mustard and curry leaf tempering.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup roasted chana dal
- 10–12 peanuts
- ginger
- green chilli
- salt
- water (as needed for grinding)
- mustard seeds (for tempering)
- oil (for tempering)
- curry leaves (for tempering)
Instructions
- Grind roasted chana dal, peanuts, ginger, green chilli, and salt with water to a chutney consistency.
- Prepare tempering: heat oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add tempering to the chutney and mix.
