Cabbage and potatoes pressure-cooked with salt, then sautéed in a mustard-hing tempering.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg cabbage
  • 2 potatoes
  • 3 green chilies
  • salt (used while pressure cooking (implied))
  • oil (for tempering)
  • mustard seeds (for tempering)
  • asafoetida (hing) (for tempering)

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the cabbage and potatoes with salt for 4 whistles, then switch off the gas.
  2. Heat oil; add mustard seeds and hing.
  3. Add the cooked cabbage and potatoes and sauté.
