Black chickpeas soaked overnight, boiled, and seasoned with spices and a hing tempering.
Ingredients
- white chana (chickpeas) (soak overnight)
- haldi (turmeric)
- salt
- red chilli powder
- aamchur (dry mango powder)
- black pepper powder
- oil (for tempering)
- hing (asafoetida) (for tempering)
- chole masala (optional)
Instructions
- Soak black chana overnight.
- Boil the chana.
- Add haldi, salt, and red chilli powder.
- Add a tempering of hing (in oil).
Tips
- You can also add chole masala.
