Bhel - Green Chutney

A fresh green chutney for bhel made by grinding coriander with green chilli, ginger, curry leaves, and seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch coriander
  • 1 bunch spring onion
  • 1 bunch dill
  • mint
  • ginger
  • green chilies
  • lemon
  • curd (yogurt)
  • mustard seeds (for tempering)
  • urad dal (for tempering)
  • asafoetida (hing; for tempering)

Instructions

  1. Blend coriander, spring onion, dill, mint, ginger, green chilies, lemon, and curd into a chutney.
  2. Prepare tempering with mustard seeds, urad dal, and asafoetida.
  3. Add the tempering to the chutney.
