Bhel Chutney (Sweet Tamarind-Jaggery Chutney)

A sweet-tangy chutney made by boiling jaggery and tamarind, seasoned with spices for bhel/pani-puri.

Ingredients

  • 100 g Fresh jaggery
  • Tamarind
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Chili powder (to taste)
  • 2 tsp Pani-puri masala

Instructions

  1. Boil fresh jaggery and tamarind together; once it comes to a boil, simmer.
  2. Add salt, chili powder, and pani-puri masala.
  3. Cool and serve.
